There are many ways to classify LED drive power, and there is no uniform standard for various classification methods. Each classification method can also be combined with other classification methods to classify LED drivers.
(1) Classified by output power
Simple number division is not a unified standard specification in the industry. Generally, the greater the power, the higher the technical requirements for LED power supply design, and the larger the product volume, which is related to power density.
(2) According to the dimming method
No dimming, triac dimming, 0-10V dimming, PWM dimming, DALI dimming, DMX dimming, Zigbee, etc.
Different dimming methods are suitable for different lighting occasions. SMARTS LED power supplies mainly push dimming power supplies such as 0-10V, DALI, and DMX, which can be matched with most dimming controllers on the market.
(3) According to output voltage
If such a classification method is adopted, the power supply is basically an LED constant voltage power supply. The specifications of constant voltage sources are relatively uniform, among which 12V, 24V, and 48V constant voltage sources are more common.
