Since there are so many ways of dimming, which one should we choose for the renovation project?

For the transformation project, we recommend the most simple and direct way: triac led dimming.  For example, DALI and 0/1-10V dimming require wiring, while DMX dimming requires more complicated programming.

As a renovation project, it is difficult to add another signal line. Since the triac dimming does not require a signal line, it is more suitable for use in renovation projects.

The first step is to replace the original driver with a triac dimming driver. Among them, the constant voltage/constant current dimming drive is selected according to the type of lamps.

1. If it is a constant current lamp, select the triac dimmable constant current led driver

(Common constant current lamps: downlights, spotlights, panel lights, ceiling lights, linear lights, flood lights, etc.)

2. If it is a constant voltage lamp, select the triac dimmable constant voltage led driver

(Common constant voltage lamps: LED strips, wall washers, buried lights, bold lights, etc.)

After completing the above operation, replace the original switch with the SCR dimming knob so that the dimming is ready.
