Normally, our UL triac dimmable drivers can working in -10~+50℃environment temperature. If you are looking for some constant voltage led driver for outdoor use (such as Canada’s winter, the outdoor temperature is lower than -20℃) and the outdoor environment temperature is very low, lower than -10℃ then please let us know. Since for our normal led driver, they can’t use at so lower working temperature. Our engineers will help you adjust the design to make it can working well in lower environment temperature.
For our UL super slim triac led driver, you may find their working temperature is very high, when you loading 50%, the temperate will be 75℃ to 80℃. Do not worry, it is not a big problem. Since the outer case of triac slim driver is very small, the components are all tight attached to the outer case, and cooling area is very small which cause the working temperature very high. For slim led driver, we have aluminum case and plastic case two version. The aluminum one which surface working temperature will high than plastic one, as the aluminum one release heat is more easy than plastic one.
Our of UL/cUL ETL/cETL dimming led driver are all have tc point which is the highest working temperature of drivers. You may find it on the product label.
