A common problem with the compatibility of triac dimming is that there is a large inconsistency between the maximum and minimum firing angles of phase-cut dimmers during dimming, which leads to differences in the dimming performance of LED drivers.
Different brands and different product models have a very large variation range of the firing angle, so that the on-time and the power applied to the load will also change. The conduction period of the phase-cut dimmer is directly related to the operating current of the LED, and thus affects the amount of light emitted by the lamp. Any non-linearity in the dimming curve can exacerbate performance differences between dimmers.
SMARTS POWER's new multi-current dial-code triac dimming led driver is available in 10W, 20W, 40W, 60W specifications. The power supply contains a dial-code module, which can adjust the output current according to user needs. Compatible with most LED lamps and dimmers on the market to achieve flicker-free smooth dimming.
